Inside the BBQ shack.

This is a more direct shot or view that you are used to seeing from the movie in the BBQ shack.

You'll of course notice the front door just like in the movie. Notice the circuit breaker to the left of the door, the same circuit breaker as in the BBQ shack scene. In fact, it looks to be like the very same circuit breaker box from 1973. Perhaps they unmounted it from the original wall and remounted it on the new paneling?

It's quite obvious here that you can see most of the wall and the door that the owners have added that cuts this once 1 room into 2 smaller rooms.

To the left was the bench that Sally Hardesty (Marilyn Burns) sat on.

Remember the broom that Drayton picks up to his right (your left) that was placed by the door?

To the right of this picture are the bathrooms. There are 2 toilets and I do not know if there was only one or two toilets present during the shooting of the film. But the toilets are still there.

The added wall is obviously covering up what was once the BBQ furnace. There is no furnace there. There is simply a square hole with a view to the main room.
