The infamous driveway. A lot of shooting was done on these several yards of gravel.

Where Leatherface (Gunnar Hansen) kills Franklin (Paul A. Partain).
Leatherface chases Sally (Marylin Burns). I'm almost convinced that Tobe Hooper did most of the chase here because of the branches that still grow at the entrance of the driveway. Even though it looks like the chase was over several hundred feet in the movie, I believe that Tobe used cut after cut of Gunnar and Marylin running through the branches on this part of the driveway. Sally also tangles her hair in the branches at one point.
Another great scene from the movie of the driveway is when the Old Man (Jim Seidow) punishes the Hitchiker (Edwin Neal) and hits him several times with his stick in the middle of the driveway with the truck lights behind them. This was when the Old Man kidnapped Sally and has her bound and gagged in a potato sack on the floorboard of his truck.
Probably the best coverage of the driveway is when Sally escapes from the dinner scene and limps down the driveway. The Hitchiker chases her with a knife and they both turn left going south on Old Country Road 172. Leatherface follows as well with his chainsaw.
