If you have seen the movie at least once, you should recognize this perspective.   So I won't go on about it.  But notice how 172 curves in and joins Old Country Road 172 at the bottom of the hill.  Since this was done after the movie was made, you only see the Old Country Road 172 going straight.  Replay the last scene of the movie and you'll see what I'm talking about.
