Paul's work will not be forgotten. I am writing on behalf of myself and my 8 year old son, Brendan. We have become fans and admirers of the art and work that went into filming such a horror film.
 
My son has some words to say:
 
Paul was a heck of a good actor in the roll of Franklin. And probably in the other movies he did, that I have not seen yet. I am a fan of him and Gunnar. When I heard about his death I was shocked. I was inspired by that film to make my own horror films. And hopefully one day dedicate my work to Paul A. Partain. Good wishes go to Paul.
 
 
Thank you for keeping us posted. Ironically, I was on the phone with my son on Friday, after he had purchased a TCM replica of "Leatherface" when I decided to go on Gunnar's site. It was there that I read the news of Paul's passing. I told my son over the phone and we were both very sadden by the loss of such an UNDERRATED performer.
