Marilyn Burns
"Sally Hardesty"
Marilyn Ann Burns graduated from UT Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Drama in May, 1971. She has appeared in several other movies such as "Helter Skelter", "Eaten Alive", "Loving Molly", "Future Kill" and "Kiss Daddy Goodbye", along with an uncredited cameo in TCM 4, The Next Generation as a patient on the gurney (being pushed by Paul Partain!). She also appeared in the Exploited Video documentary of TCM in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth". She lives in Houston, Texas as well. She is not married, although she is involved and to my knowledge has no children.

Allen Danziger

Allen Bruce Danziger has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from City College, New York, 1964. He has a master's degree in Social Psychology from the University of Texas in 1968. And he has a master's in Social Work from the University of Texas in 1970. He still lives in Texas and owns his own entertainment company called "3 Ring Service". His company provides many entertaining services. Such as clowns, magicians, dancers, and puppet shows to his customers as well as casino games for parties.
After appearing in TCM in 1973, Allen did a lot of work with the retarded and participated in the big brother and sister program. He started his company in 1978 and has been going strong since then. He appeared in the Exploited Video documentary of TCM in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth". He is not married, although he is involved and has a son.
John Dugan

After playing Grandpa in the original 1974
Texas Chainsaw Massacre, he did a cameo as a police man at the end of Texas
Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.
John took time off away from the public and the cameras until the 2000's, when
he started making appearances and acting in independent films again.

Gunnar Hansen

Gunnar Hansen graduated from UT Austin with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English in May, 1970. He has lived in Maine since the late 1970's. Although he did live in Austin, Texas for several months in 1999 and moved back to Maine. He primarily works as a writer, although he still makes occasional appearances and acts. He has also appeared in the documentaries, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth". He is not married and has no children but is involved.

Edwin Neal
"Hitchhiker"
Edwin still lives in Austin, TX. He continues to appear not only in movies such as "J.F.K.", "Future Kill" (notably also with Marilyn Burns) and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait", but does commercials on television, radio as well as voice-overs for several computer games. He also attends conventions making appearances promoting himself and his book(s), plays guitar and harmonica and does stand-up comedy. I understand he has several daughters and is involved.

Paul A. Partain

After playing the wheelchair-bound Franklin in the original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, he played a few minor roles in other lesser-known films such as Outlaw Blues with Peter Fonda and Rolling Thunder with William Devane and Tommy Lee Jones.
He left his acting to pursue a career in the electronics field. In the late 1990's, he appeared in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth" and soon afterward made a few public appearances.
Paul lost his battle with cancer in 2005.

Jim Siedow
"Old Man" / "The Cook"
1920 - 2003
Although he is probably best known for his character in TCM and TCM2, he has a long list of credits as an actor and theatrical director over the past several decades. Jim also appears in the documentaries, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth".
Jim passed away in November of 2003 from complications of emphyzima. His longtime wife, Ruth, passed away only months after Jim.
He is survived by his 2 sons, a daughter and several grandchildren.

William (Bill) Vail
"Kirk"
Bill (as he refers to himself) moved to the west coast to pursue a successful career as a set decorator. His credits as a set decorator includes most Steve Botchko productions such as L.A. Law as well as other features. (Watch for his name in television show credits!) He has appeared in a number of off Broadway productions, soaps, commercials and movies such as "Mausoleum". Look for his credits in the television series, "Jason of Star Command" as well. And he also appears in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth".
Bill also appeared in "Poltergeist" as himself playing the implosion man.
He is married and has several children.
